This is a part of the Morphic Reef series. When I was young I would spend a few hours everyday with my eyes glued into a 20 gallon salt water reef tank I had. I believe I partly absorbed my painting colors from spending so much time in this underwater world. Now, I travel to dive in the coral reefs out in the wild. It’s a place where movement changes. You don’t swim, you fly. A “walk” through a reef is accompanied by the ebb and flow of the current. It’s the closest thing to entering a different world, and the soul takes on a completely new shape.
